As a candidate dedicated to the safety and well-being of East Point residents, I am committed to collaborating closely with the East Point Police Department to prevent youth crime effectively. Recognizing the impact of proactive engagement, I fully support and enhance the department’s youth camp initiatives, aligning with research demonstrating that engaged youth are less likely to engage in criminal activities.

Moreover, in addressing drug misuse, I have partnered with the East Point Police Department by donating Narcan during National Night Out and organizing training sessions to ensure its effective use within our community. Additionally, to better understand the challenges and responsibilities faced by our police force, I have undertaken a ride-along with the East Point Police Department. This firsthand experience will inform my efforts to further support and enhance their initiatives, ensuring East Point remains a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
